This tribe, or band, of ancient foragers exist in South America from 9000 years. Due to conflict of modern-man and Ache people over land, these foragers were masaccred multiple time, resulting a decrease in population. They now live in Paraguay region.

• Mostly by hunting using a cross-bow (large mammal) or by hand (small animals).
• Meat is the main diet but also consume fruits, nuts, honey and larvae from Palm trees.

• They do highly cooperative activities including hunting–they hunt in groups–and share food by redistribution. The food is distributed based on the size of the family.
• When a child is born, duties (ritual) are performed by a man or woman, who become a godfather and godmother. Child, parents and godparents take care of each other throughout life.

• Worship thunder or thunderous being

• Old or disable women are killed by another man of the tribe. ¹⁾²⁾
• Little kids or new-born child can be murdered because of being ugli or unwanted gender ³⁾
• During social games, a participant can be injured or killed.⁴⁾
