Whatever I found amusing in the books I have read. So these are notes from those books.
The Discovery Of India:
- *The Discovery Of India* is a book written by first
prime-minister of India, Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru.
- Interesting ideas of "ending" of **Sindhu Ghati civilization**
die to Aryan immigration.
- Aryan's bring religion with them which lead them to believe in
Gods and therefore the supernatural. These gods are mentioned in
**Vedas**
- The people from **Paniya civilization** might extinct due to
Aryans.
- After some time **Vedas** become part of supersitition.
- This leads to writing of **Vedanta** and exploration of
different philiosophies which are cited in this book. Some of
the main philosophies, cited in the book, are:

[Jainism](jainism)and[Charvaka](charvaka)
