There are abundance of food recipes but among few the ones I have tried
are following.
Masala Tea:For one cup, first boil the water and add freshly
crused Cardamom, Ginger and Black pepper. After the boil, add a
tea spoon of black tea which will give a second boil. Now add the
milk and keep the temperature uniform by stirring with spoon. Wait
for a couple of boil and tea is ready to be served.
Daal Tadka: It\'s a recipe of lentil curry in which two type of
lentils—moong (green lentil) and arhar (pigeon pea lentil)
daal—are used. Moong gives base to this recipes along with the
texture of arhar. For masala, I usually prefer tomato based masala
Saboot Masoor: Soak the masoor for 15 minutes then cook it in
pressure cooker with traditional tomato masala with one whistle at
high flame and 5 whisles at medium flame.
Aloo Jeera: Boil aloo in pressure cooker then prepare masala
with a bit more cumin
